Orcish Language skill starts at 0, so Orcs cant understand themselves unless they spend a few minutes spamming the hell out of their keyboard and their skill in the language increases high enough so that they know what other people are saying. I didnt have this problem with Gutterspeak (Undead Language).
Also, all other skills start at 0, and while they are like, all learned, you cant hit jack for the next 4 or so things you attack. I died 3 times in sucession on one monster because I couldnt hit it without using Heroic Strike.
Will report more bugs as I find them.

Actually back when I was in Stress Test and Open Beta, the weapons usually started with a reasonable number like 10-15, and as far as I can tell the main weapons your class starts out with in Retail usually starts out with the skill at a low setting.
Orcs and other Horde do not speak common - in 1.2.4 it was impossible for them to do so. They can not understand it, either. If you are referring to the alliance, yes, Im sure they can understand it perfectly.
However "Orcish" is like the Horde "Common". It needs to be set at full for all Orc races or they arent going to be able to understand each other for a long time.
Also... just figured this out a while ago... There are like, no monsters at all. I wandered around south of Orgrimmar with my character, and there are like... no monsters. Several NPCs (shopkeeps and trainers) are missing from Razor Hill, and Im not sure about anywhere else.
Theres also an NPC in the den that just gives you like 8 quests that all you have to do is talk to him to finish and you can get to like level 8 that way. Then there really isnt much left to do in the den. I dont know if thats on purpose or what, I just figured Id let you know.

Why? Typically I like the Horde races more than the alliance races, per choice.
Also - one more bug - you've started the Orc Warriors out with different equipment then they usually start out with... and you've given them swords when they cant use swords. :/ Odd.

usually what people start out with is up to the creators of the database. unless admin had changed it, youll just have to kill unarmed until you can afford the right weapon for your class.

That may be, but it seems a little bit odd that he didnt also add the sword skill to their list of abilities, if they were supposedly given swords. Because you cant even equip swords unless you've got the skill.
So I thought it might be a bug. :/ My mistake.

what you just stated above isnt anywhere near a bug... although it happens with a few races e.g i started a dwarven warrior, he had a sword and shield, yet wen i attacked his skill in 2 handed axes went up

I have a human warlock which can't wear any clothes...
i got the novice clothes on but when i take them off i can't put them back on. There are no clothing prerequisites for warlocks
i think that warlock should be able to wear clothes, dont ya think?

the reagent and robe merchants don't work at the starting place for humans, no mage trainer at the starting place, and the quest to talk to Marshal McBride doesn't work since you can't talk to the guy.
